Peter Henkel, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Henkel is responsible for the management of Coventry. Since 1998, Coventry has acquired and developed approximately $2 billion of retail assets. Prior to forming Coventry in 1998, Mr. Henkel spent 12 years, from 1986 to 1998, at Morgan Stanley & Co. in its Real Estate, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets departments. In these capacities, he has had extensive experience in a wide variety of both principal and advisory real estate transactions, including commercial real estate acquisitions, corporate mergers and acquisitions and equity and debt financings. In addition, he served in senior management capacities, including as the chief operating officer of Morgan Stanley Realty.
Mr. Henkel is a 1986 graduate of Yale University where he earned a B.A. in History and is active in a number of industry organizations, including PREA, ULI and ICSC.
